Pittsburgh Weather: Temperatures start falling overnight

The warmer than normal start to the year continued yesterday with a record warm high of 60. Historically, this period has seen temperatures that are just a couple degrees off of the all-time record, which was previously held by 63 degrees on April 8th, 1931. Conditions should stay favourable through today before turning colder and gradually drying out overnight through tomorrow.

The unseasonably warm weather is coming to an end today. Yesterday's high of 60 degrees was still a couple of degrees off of the record high for the day but not too far off of it. It has helped us see one of the warmest starts to the year on record.

Some snow showers are expected as a light rain chance persists for the morning hours. Highs should get to near 50 degrees this afternoon, but will start to fall off as we head into the evening hours.
We're looking forward to a day with no rain and only slight storms. High temperatures are expected to hit near 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
